The class or meaning of a particular measurement. The measurement type identifies what a particular measurement represents, such as PERCENTUSED for the amount of disc space that is used on a particular component. For each measurement type there are many measurements recorded. Measurement types remain the same across different components, while the measurements themselves are related to only one component.
