A CICS facility used for testing application programmes interactively online, without making any modifications to the source programme or to the programme preparation procedure. The facility intercepts execution of the programme at various points and displays information about the programme at these points. Also displayed are any screens sent by the user program, so that the programmer can converse with the application programme during testing just as a user would do on the production system.
