Transaction programme network

The hierarchical structure of user or system transaction programmes communicating at a synchronisation level of none, confirm, or commit. When the synchronisation level is commit, the transaction programmes communicate over protected conversations using the two-phase commit protocol. In this case, the hierarchy consists of an initiator, optionally one or more cascaded initiators, and agents.
