Pertaining to a status where the optical image associated with the selected image catalogue entry is active or loaded in the active virtual optical device. The mounted image is the currently available optical image that can be seen by using the Work with Optical Volumes (WRKOPTVOL) command. One optical image can be in mounted status at a time. The installation software will start with this image during the installation process.
