Internal object

(1) An object that the system programme uses to store the information needed to perform some system functions. Internal objects cannot be displayed by a user. For example, you cannot use a display command (like the Display Library (DSPLIB) command) to display internal objects. See also external object.
(2) A structured field that can be included as part of a resource or a print job (data set or file), but that cannot be accessed separately.
