Image catalogue entry
A position (index) within an image catalogue that contains information about an optical image file (byte-stream file) that is located in the image catalogue directory. Examples of image catalogue entry information include optical image file name, volume identifier, index position in the catalog, and a text description of the image. Image catalogue entries can have the following statuses: (1) loaded, (2) mounted, (3) unloaded.
