(1) In DB2 Database for Linux, UNIX, and Windows, a SYSCAT or SYSSTAT view on the catalogue table.
(2) One of a set of views automatically created when a database is created. catalogue views contain information about the database and the objects in that database. Examples of information about the database are definitions of database objects and information about the authority that users have on these objects. See also catalogue table.
