A repository that allows the DB2 database system to manage dependencies on externally referenced XML artefacts in XML instance documents within a database. Supported XSR objects include XML schemas, document type definitions (DTDs), and other external entities. When registered with the XSR, these objects have a unique identifier and can be used to validate XML instance documents. See also XSR object.
