DL/I interface block (DIB)

A block containing variables automatically defined in an application programme using HLPI to receive information passed to the programme by DL/I during execution. A block automatically inserted into a programme by the DLI command translator. Whenever a programme issues an EXEC DLI request, DLI responds by storing information in the DIB.
