원뿔 빔 계산 x선 단층 촬영

Also known as kV CBCT or MV CBCT, this volumetric imaging technique uses an X-ray source, either kV or MV, to traverse a given trajectory around the object, while a two-dimensional detector (kV or MV imager, respectively) measures the radiation transmission through, and at many orientations around, the object. Complex reconstruction algorithms then convert the acquired projections into a 3D volumetric image. CBCT gives soft-tissue contrast of the object over a large volume with only a single rotation (circle scan) of the source. These CBCT scans can be acquired using a full (360 degree) or half (~200 degree) rotation of the kV or MV source.
