A crystal form of 24 faces in the isometric system with the gross appearance of each face of an octahedron being replaced by three faces arrayed around a diagonal triad. Each face of a trigonal trisoctahedron is an isosceles triangle, while each face of a tetragonal trisoctahedron is a trapezoid.
