C6H2Cl4 Water-insoluble, combustible white crystals that appear in two forms: 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene which melts at 47_C and is used in chemical synthesis and in dielectric fluids; and 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene which melts at 138_C and is used to make herbicides, defoliants, and electrical insulation.
