C18H34O3 Unsaturated fatty acid; a combustible, water-insoluble, viscous liquid; soluble in most organic solvents; boils at 226_C (10 mmHg); used as a chemical intermediate, in soaps and Turkey red oils, and for textile finishing. Also known as castor oil acid.
