retrograde condensation
Phenomenon associated with the behavior of a hydrocarbon mixture in the critical region wherein, at constant temperature, the vapor phase in contact with the liquid may be condensed by a decrease in pressure; or at constant pressure, the vapor is condensed by an increase in temperature.
