Neurological relates to neurology. It is a subdivision of medicine specializing in the structure, function and diseases of the nervous system. It divides into two broad categories central nervous system disorders and peripheral nervous system disorders. Some symptoms of a neurological disorder can be the paralyses, muscle weakness or loss of mental control. The disorder is evaluated by a neurological examination. It evaluates the neurological damage and disease of the brain functioning like behavior, memory and cognition. Causes of neurological problems can be genetic, congenital abnormalities, infections, lifestyle or environmental health even malnutrition and injuries. These injuries can be brain, spinal cord or nerve injury.
