molokheya
Also known as green soup, an exclusively Egyptian staple lunch/dinner dish, made of special green leaves called molokheya (derived from the Arabic word meaning royal), shredded with a circular shaped double or triple blade knife with two handles, added to meat/chicken/rabbit soup, and stirred well, then a special blend of fried garlic is added to the mixture. Served with bread or white rice.
