lymphotoxin
A tumor necrosis factor family member that is released by lymphocytes activated by antigens or T-cell mitogens. Lymphotoxin is antigenically distinct from tumor necrosis factor-alpha, though they both share common receptors, biological activities, and significant amino acid sequence homology.
