C20H25NO4 An optically inactive alkaloid derived from alkaline mother liquors from morphine extraction; it crystallizes in orthorhombic prisms from alcohol and chloroform; the prisms melt at 167_C, and are soluble in hot alcohol, benzene, and chloroform. Also known as dl-laudanidine.
