• Cares for breeding stocks in pens.
• Selects pairs for mating on basis of size, color, vigor, or desired characteristics.
• Gathers eggs for artificial incubation, and transfers young to rearing pens.
• Mixes feed according to formulas and fills feeding stations.
• Cleans and fills water containers.
• Sets and maintains traps for predatory and noxious animals and birds that may prey upon or carry disease to charges.
• Drives birds into portable coops to prepare them for transportation to release area.
• May liberate birds and animals in designated areas.
