Morgan Schneiderlin (born 8 November 1989) is a French professional footballer who plays for English club Southampton as a midfielder. Born in Obernai, Schneiderlin began his career with local team RC Strasbourg before joining Southampton in June 2008, where he has since become a regular in the starting lineup.

On 13 May 2014, France coach Didier Deschamps named Schneiderlin on the team's standby list for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He was later called into the full squad following the withdrawal of the injured Franck Ribéry and Clément Grenier. On 8 June 2014 Schneiderlin made his international debut, in a friendly game against Jamaica.
