Manusela National Park
Manusela National Park, covering an area of 189,000 hectares or 20% of Seram Island, is said to be the most beautiful national park in Indonesia. Consisting of magnificent rainforests, mountains, valleys, flowing rivers and underwater ecosystems, mostly untouched by modern culture, and inhabited by 117 species of birds (14 of which are endemic) and wide variety of exotic animals and vegetations, it is an ideal paradise for natural researchers and eco-tourism lovers.
