In Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), a dense stratocumulus overcast, frequently with drizzle, occurring mainly in early summer. The condition is associated with easterly winds that invade the interior, bringing in cool and stable maritime air when an anticyclone moves eastward south of Africa.
