The Dale house was the house in which Jasper Dale resided. The building used for Jasper's workshop in the episode "The Story Girl Earns Her Name" was actually on Prince Edward Island and was shot with a second unit crew. Jasper's House in Season One was an old farmhouse, just north of Toronto. Leter Olivia, Jasper's wife, also moves in.
